Hello, my name is Denise and I work at Katey’s Nursery & Preschool, Hampton Court as Branch Manager. With 15 years of experience working with children and a qualified teacher, I have developed a strong understanding of early childhood development and the importance of providing a nurturing environment for young learners.
Throughout my professional journey, I had the privilege of working in a Reggio Emilia inspired nursery in Sweden, where I gained valuable knowledge about child-led learning, collaboration, and the arts in early childhood education.
As a mum myself, I understand the significance of ensuring our children’s well-being and development. I firmly believe that a nursery should be a home away from home, where children feel safe, secure and cared for. Here at Katey’s we strive to create a nurturing environment that fosters trust and comfort among both children and their families, allowing children to learn and grow.
In my free time, I enjoy taking daily trips with my family, visiting my relatives in Slovenia, and indulging in a good book or practicing my calligraphy skills.
