Hi, my name is Humaira, and I work at Kateys Nursery & Pre-School, Brentford as Branch Manager. I have worked in childcare for the past 9 years and hold a Cache Level 3 qualification in Childcare. In addition, I am working towards achieving a level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management in Early Years as well as a SENCO Lead.
As a mother to three children myself, I fully understand the importance of education and of the childcare setting our children attend. I am passionate about providing consistency for the children in our care here at Katey’s and creating and fostering a love of learning within our nursery setting. I enjoy inspiring staff on a day-to-day basis by creating and sharing new ideas to support all the lovely children in our care. I believe in having a strong partnership with parents to ensure our children grow into confident learners, achieve their full learning potential during their time with us, and are fully prepared for the next steps on their journey.
In my spare time I enjoy hiking and visiting important historical and cultural sites with my family. I also enjoy reading, and time spent with relatives and friends.
