My name is Urszula, and I am the Head of Early Years at all Katey’s House branches. My passion for early childhood education began in 2010 when I started my Master’s degree in Pedagogy. Since then, I have gained extensive knowledge in psychological, pedagogical, and educational aspects of Early Years and have worked in various roles, from teaching assistant to nursery practitioner, room leader, deputy manager, and now Head of Early Years at Katey’s.
I am dedicated to nurturing young minds and fostering a lifelong love of learning through play and exploration. I enthusiastically integrate music and arts into children’s education, recognising the transformative power of creativity in their development. I embrace a holistic approach to growth, addressing intellectual, emotional, and social aspects of learning for both children and adults.
As Head of Early Years, I actively train practitioners to support their professional development, ensuring they have the necessary tools and skills to provide high-quality education and care, embodying one of Katey’s House values: Investing in the Professional Growth of Educators.
My hobbies include music, poetry, photography, nutrition, and healthy diets. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, long walks in parks, travelling, attending live music events, playing guitar, and drawing.
